Hey guys it’s summer! And so here I am again, sharing another trip for those who are looking for places to go. This time I went to Batangas with two of my friends and discovered one of its jewels in Mabini Batangas, Camp Netanya.
Camp Netanya is located at Brgy. Ligaya, Mabini, Batangas and known as the Santorini of the South. White walls accented with blue doors and roofs made it look like you’re really in Greece. We availed their dip and dine package during our stay which includes lunch at Greeka Restaurant, conplimentary use of regular kayak and pool towels, and access to sea swimming. Everything was perfect, the weather, the place, and the service.
How to get here:
📍Brgy. Ligaya, Mabini, Batangas
7am: Ride a bus at JAM Liner Cubao going to Batangas City. Inform bus assistant that you will alight at Batangas Grand Terminal. P165
9:30am: From Batangas Grand Terminal, take a jeep going to Mabini-Anilao, inform jeep assistant that you are going to Camp Netanya. P37
10:15am: Tricycle ride going to Camp Netanya. Special trip: P80, P40 for each person if more than 2.
10:30am: Touch down Camp Netanya
A guard assisted us with an umbrella in hand once he confirmed that we came with reservation. The front desk officers were courteous and attended to us immediately. After payments have been made, we were asked if what time we would like our lunch to be served. Since it was almost noon, we opted to eat lunch first before heading down to the pool area. The day tour package starts at 8am until 5pm. We were late but it was just alright. But if you want to explore the resort more thoroughly then I suggest you come as early as you can.
They also have another day tour package, Revive and Relax, which include a massage and buffet lunch. Their day tour packages and room rates vary depending on the day (weekday or weekend) and time of the year (peak and off peak season). They require their guests to deposit P2,000 upon check in and the same amount will be returned on check out if there are no additional charges within your stay. The resort staff were very attentive and frequently checked us if we need anything.
Inquire from their corporate email: firstname.lastname@example.org if your preferred dates are available. As of our inquiry during our visit, the weekends of April to June are already fully booked, however, some slots on weekdays are still open. We timed our visit on a Friday, and booked our reservation last January.
5:30pm: Check out, they called for a tricycle for us that took us to the main road. P130 for 3
6pm: Jeep ride to Batangas Grand Terminal P40
7pm: Bus ride to Cubao
10pm: Arrival at Cubao
Overall, my experience was amazing and I will definitely recommend this resort to others who want to take their summertime to the next level. Expect great service from their staff. I hope they will keep it up!
