After months of searching, I chose La Union. Last year, we made a trip to two Panay Provinces (Iloilo and Guimaras) and were faced with rains and high waves. Oh my Guimaras!

One of the provinces in Panay Region, Guimaras is only a 15-minute boat ride from Iloilo. Before going home to Manila from our trip to Isla de Gigantes in Carles last year, I decided to include Guimaras to our itinerary. If you are planning to go to Iloilo, I recommend that you visit Guimaras as well and other nearby provinces.

Boracay: For The First-Timers

Named as one of the most beautiful islands in the world, Boracay Island in Aklan, Philippines is a top tourist destination. During summer months (March to May), Boracay is one of the places where people go to to spend their vacation. Former students go here to celebrate their school graduation. Others came for business and leisure. They also have an event every first day of May which is known as Laboracay, celebrating Labor Day which is a holiday for all people who work.

Exploring Samar

For my Holy Week holiday, our family went to my father’s hometown at General MacArthur, Eastern Samar. The last time that we visited was on 2011 when we celebrated my graduation from college and passing of licensure examination. Jomalig for a Cause

Last July, my workmates and I went to Jomalig Island, Quezon to take part of a beach clean-up drive and outreach program for Barangay Salibungot and other neighboring communities. It’s a great experience for me because I was able to reach out to those who are less fortunate, experience their hospitality, and be one with them while enjoying the beauty of the island.
